I'm an English Import that John & Donna brought back to CA with
them in January
1999. John says I'm the best hunter in his pack, and I've caught the
eye of other Masters as well when they've watched me out working on jackrabbits!
My voice is unmistakable Ð it'll set your hair on end, but there's
no question it's me and that I'm on to something very exciting! Donna says
my name should be "High Squeak Minty". I'm an escape artist, and will destroy
chainlink to get out if John's trying to go hunting without me! I had several
litters of pups in the UK for High Peak since they thought so highly of
my hunting ability. Here in the US I've had 2 litters, producing Mischief
in the first litter that stayed at Kingsbury. My 2nd litter here mainly
went to hunting homes - Kingsbury kept three (Trollop
& Timber in CA, and Trifle
in GA with Jackpot
Hounds), one went to a rabbit hunter in southern IL, and one went to
the Myopia Foxhound pack in MA. Now I'll be helping John train the younger
hounds in proper hunting when we go back out this fall. I've
also had recent wins in the show ring, picking up both my majors, as shown
with judge Michelle Billings.
