My name is Jaunty, because when I was born, they said, "My, what a jauntily marked puppy!" (It also has a good long history as a traditional English hound name.) I am a Harrier who lives in Southern California.

NEWS FLASH!!!
JAUNTY WINS BEST IN SHOW three times!! I am now the top winning Harrier in Canadian History!! They say wining has gone to my head, but I deserve to be treated like a princess! (send me some food to eat!!)
I earned my Canadian Championship in just one weekend with 3 group placements at the Red Deer Shows. I'll be in Canada for a while, Donna promised I would be home by Christmas (two years ago!!).

I won the Harrier Club of America National Specialty two years in a row!!!('95 &'96)

Donna & John are very proud of me because I'm their "first homeborn Champion" with the Kingsbury name. I don't really know what that means, but I get to go to dog shows a lot, and there I get fed lots of goodies, which I really like. I will stand up on my back legs and paw the air like a wild horse, or I can walk backwards on my hind legs too. I'm also great at catching! That comes from having to be good at it, else the yummies might go in someone elses tummy instead of mine.

Donna has been teaching me to be obedient, but that's a subjective term I believe. But I do like working at the park and things, and she says we'll get a CDX put after my name someday.

I always love to play, and if you blow in my face, I get all goofy and will roll over on the floor or paw at your face and make funny noises. I play all the time with Mitchell & Hurry , and usually let them roll me all over the yard. But I'm also the boss around the house (except for daddy Hardwick - he makes me behave), so I keep Mitchell & Hurry & even mom Jessie in their right respectful places - they know I'm top bitch!!
