High Peak Cheltenham

That's pronounced CHELT-NUM for you Americans!

Kathy Martell brought me back from England where I hunted for 5 years with the High Peak Harriers. Now I have died and gone to heaven (at least it seems that way). I get two whole meals a day of this neat food called kibble rather than the meat on the bone I got every few days in the UK.
I'm on loan for a while in California, busy hunting with the Kingsbury pack as well as taking time out for dog shows and romancing the ladies. I've got lots of kids back in the UK and a few here in the USA; I even won the Stallion Hound class at Peterborough in 1995.

Vale of Lune Chancellor

John and Donna Brought us home from their trip to England in November '97. Like Cheltenham, we hunted with a big pack, the Vale of Lune Harriers, before coming to America.

We spend most of our time lazing in the sun or running around the yard, but best of all John takes us out with the other Kingsbury Harriers for some informal hunting (chasing jackrabbits ) in the local desert once or twice a week. This keeps us in good shape (running along with his horse Bree ) doing what we have been bred to do for centuries.

side view of chancellor 'Ello Guv'nor! I'm a brand-new English import and I'm enjoying my new life in California! Besides being an escape artist, I also like hunting with John & my new packmates. My new mum says that I'll probably get several girlfriends after my paperwork is complete. I also heard her mutter something about me being too damned smart for his own good.

I came to California recently with my half-brother Chancellor, after John & Donna visited my pack in England. Be careful, because I'm a very sweet lap-cuddler, and I'll steal your heart if you're not wary! Mum wants to get me in obedience classes soon so she can build my self-confidence a bit so then she can start taking me to dog shows. John just takes me to chase jackrabbits like a Harrier should. Even though I'm a two & a half, I still act like a puppy - always playing in the yard & running & playing & peeking in all the windows.
